Got me a new truck!

I just bought a 2008 Ford F150. Right now they are giving trucks away, and like the stock market, the time to buy is low. With my military and firefighter discount I got a 22K truck for under 10K. Extended cab with a V6 and 5spd. It is rather bare bones, but it had 4 miles on it and it is the first new truck I ever bought.

That is a good deal. We have been replacing all of our company trucks since they are about giving them away. 2 years ago we bought a 2006 F-150 for 39k and the same model truck 2 years later (2008) was 27k.

I love the F-150! Normally I wouldn't want a v6 but the 4.2L SOHC has decent HP. I wish I was in a position to go down and get me one. I really need a truck again (Sold my full size Bronco 351ci back in December).

CONGRATULATIONS!! Sounds like you got one Hellava DEAL! I bought at the top and have been regretting it, now that deals like this are out there!!

Okay then, tell her you threw your business card in a bowl at a deli for a contest and you won the truck. Then be sure to have the payment stubs sent to a P.O. box... Then make her breakfast...

won't work when i buy something i come home and clean the kitchen when she sees what i did she amediatly!! HOW DAMN MUCH MONEY DID YOU SPEND THIS TIME!!!!! then she goes into the bedroom and doesn't come out for a few days.it get really quiet around here because she doesn't talk to me far quit a while so i try to buy something every few weeks just to get some peace and quiet. that brings me to a joke

these two guys are sitting around talkin and one says to the other that his wife is mad and refuses to speak to him at all . then he says he's thinkin of getting a divorce . thats when the other guy says why leave her ladies like that are hard to come by.

Still won't work..!! She'll notice the money disappearing out of the bank.And then she will shoot him and go to prison for murder.The truck will go back to the dealer.And then while she is in prison they will feed her breakfast...

Is funny, we guys are screwed. When we were little we always had to get permision from our moms to do stuff, now we have to get permision from our wifes to get stuff...

It has about 250 HP, enough to do what I want it to do. It is Navy blue, ha ha

, I had to get one with a 5spd so I know my girlfriend can't drive it. It drives great, I am completely impressed with the total package and overall quality of the vehicle. . The only regret is getting the extended warranty, but I do plan on owning it for a long time and I like the roadside assistance that comes with it.

I like a straight shift better anyway. A truck should have a truck tranny. 250 horses sounds good too. Congratulations.

you know they say that all women esp. they can tell you way ahead of time if your gonna get some that night or not

a man can't do that but i wish i could thatwould save alot of trouble begging for it when she know already it ain't gonna happen.

I've done the same thing. Get up in the morning and tell them "don't look at me like that. I'm not in the mood today." Be firm let them know there is no way it will happen. Be careful when you come home though. You will probably get jumped at the door. If you want it act like you dont.

i tried both things beggin and ignoring and i still ain't got it .thats why i spend money to make her mad . to me spending money is like chocolate to a women . they get a sorta pleasure from eating it and i get pleasure from buying new toys. but damn some booty would be nice here and there sometimes right??? everytime i go to make a "booty call"i get a buisy signal.
