Well folks I bought a Ruger pc9 carbine a few months ago and its been a real challenge for this old reloader!! I bought it new for $375 which was a good price. Wanted to see if it would shoot lead cast bullets which it does very well. However to get an accurate load took me hours and hours of frustrating time to say the least! My best load from a saeco 141 truncated cone bullet is 5.4 grains of blue dot with a small rifle primer. Best group is 1 and a half inches at 50 yds. It shoots lead better than jacketed for me. anyone else have one of these pea shooters? It is reliable and rarely jams even with lead. It also can take a +p+ load very well and seems well built but I think the accuracy is lacking but what do iIexpect from a 9mm rifle?

Also put on a leupold 2 to 7 scope on it as my eyes arent that good anymore
