through my grandfathers estate,i aquired a rifle that i know very little about. It is stamped on receiver"Falling Block Works" and "Maybee,Michigan" the barrel is lightly engraved"32 S&W LONG".Overall length is 39" and it has a 22" barrel. It is a single shot rifle w/ no iron sights.Any further info such as value, manufacture date and what this rifle was used for will greatly appreciated.

no,32 S&W Long is a centerfire cartridge. Not much power.I just cant see why anyone would chamber a rifle in that caliber.

| Falling Block Works Rifle
Falling Block Works of Troy (I think) MI was a company that manufactured several different sizes of single shot falling block actions for custom rifles in the 70's or 80's I had one of their catalogs but never bought an action. A shame. If you are interested in getting rid of the rifle, please email me goofyguy77@yahoo.com |
