Price my 1911

Ok so here's the deal. pretty tired of my Kimber 1911, I can seem to shoot it right, or its the gun, or both. I'm just frustrated and fed up. I also have the .22 slide which I actually thoroughly enjoyed. However, I'm beginning to consider trading/selling it for an XDm and maybe a .22 revolver. Kieth's sporting goods, where I bought the Kimber and slide, will give me 60% of what they can sell it for. I have the gun, the factory mag and 2 chip mcormicks, a blackhawk serpa holster, and the .22 slide. Totaled me 1220 and that was like 2 months ago. So I want to see how much you guys think the whole deal is worth for a private sale or gunbroker listing, something like that. How much do you think its all worth?

The .45 has MAYBE 1500 rounds through it. The .22 has maybe 1000. Both in great condition with hardly any scratches and cleaned after every shooting. Bought June 11 of 2008. the .45 has three dot night sights and the .22 slide has a fully adjustable rear target sight.

The model is a black on black Kimber Custom TLE II. Pics available upon request.

Thanks guys.

PS This is not an advertisement to sell to G&G members, its asking for a GUPO (Gun-Owner Price Opinion)

If you are interested in it though, just PM me.

I'd guess that 85% of the cost of the Kimber would be a fair price to ask. I would not take a 40% loss on the pistol. The holster would be negotiable. The mags and the .22 slide should pretty much hold their value providing there is no scratches, dents, or dings.

So a total of around 760 for the gun, and I'll even put the slide at 250.

Whole package for 1k?

40% loss is just plain Ripping you off !!! If the gun is in that good of a condition , and just getting broke in good...1000 would be a good, fair price !

I want to get this over with fast so I posted on gunbroker and cheaperthandirt classifieds for 975?

anyone here interested? I'll ship free to any G&G member. I want this thing out so i can get started on an XDm and a .357mag I think. That or an XDm and XDsubcompact.
