The "Southeast Corner"

I just started a group for G & G folks from the states of NC, SC, GA, FL, AL, LA, MS, TN & KY (AR already has a group but you are welcome to join this one too, LOL).

I have learned that the southern states are indeed in a world of their own, especially during football time with such a powerful SEC division, and what better place to vent, chat or share knowledge of the going ons in this part of the country.

Everyone is welcome to join, without regards to your location, of course.

You can access it by either going to "quick links" at the top right of the screen and clicking on "social groups" or by going under "user cp" at the top left, then clicking "social group".

Hope to see everyone there!!

Hi MrsS: I live in Charleston SC on a 55 acre lake 3 miles from the ocean, am retired, collect SS and pension, exercise and walk in morning, and, hopefully, with good health, my wife and I will enjoy the next 20 years living the wonderful life that Charleston has to offer. Daughter and 2 grandkids live about 5 minutes away and we enjoy watching them grow and prosper. Have gotten on to this forum mainly with a concensus with my walking buddies that we should be proactive and, in addition to being alert, keeping doors on car and house closed and locked, and having a security system, we should also be in possession of personal defense handguns. It was a comical scene watching 3 old guys handle handguns for the first time, go to pawn and gun shops for the first time, and even attend a large gun show.We have some superior gun shops and ranges in the area that have allowed me to familiarize myself with a S&W 642 and have confidence in my ability to "prevent" anyone from entering my bedroom at night. I have concerns that the current political climate is increasingly contentious and could lead to future problems. I am not so sure that the police can effectively handle a rush of societal problems and am willing to assume a degree of self-defense responsibility. I have gotten to enjoy casual shooting at a local range and hope that in my lifetime that is the only time I find it necessary to put my finger against the trigger.

Well hello there, sir! G & G as a whole is the best forum I have ever joined. They took me in without regards to the fact that I am a woman. All they saw was another person willing to bear arms to protect what is ours. The "southeast corner" is a social group where we can go to just to chat about anything, i.e. the weather, the football games, the states, whatever you want. It is open to everyone.
Please join us at the "southeast corner"!!

I'm also starting a new category for sections to discuss things like meetings and gunshows.

Look for it in a few days

It sure would be real great if we could hold a G&G convention once every 2 year's or so.That would be such a blast to meet face to face with the all or most of the members...

ive been thinking about that since i found out about the gun show here in az. i would pay a 20 spot to get in. it would cool to have booth or sections set up like the forum, make it a two day event.
