Colorado’s U.S. Senate candidates, in their first foray into a 21st century debate format, took time to explain their thoughts to Internet savvy voters about an 18th century matter: the Second Amendment.
Bottom line: Schaffer came flat out for the position that the Second Amendment is an individual right and has nothing to do with hunting. Udall, who is no friend of ours, came out with the standard duckspeak Democrats use when talking about the Second Amendment and individual rights to firearms ownership. It is the buzz-buzz they hope will lull the listener while they set up to take his rights away.
Coloradans, cast your votes accoring to whether or not you want a fellow citizen or a would-be slaveowner to represent you in the Senate.
I hope you folks civil rights supporters and gun owners who will get out and vote Schaffer in office. I would hate to see Colorado go like California and be taken over by a bunch of anti-civil right and anti-gun supporters like the Diane Finstein crowd there.
