Update on the rifle I bought back
Hi guys,
Remember last Friday I posted about the rifle I bought back from the lady at work? Well, I thought I'd give an update.
I got some Millett rings and installed a 2 1/2x pistol scope that I had laying around and sighted it in Tuesday after work.
At a measured 35 yards I shot a dime sized three shot group, once it was zeroed of course.
I was using Remington bulk ammo from Wal-Mart, a no name scope, and a less than sturdy bench.
Needless to say I am quite the happy camper and wonder why I sold it in the first place.
Thank you Big Dog for putting me onto Rimfire Central, I have found out some things about this rifle through them.
You guys are the best and I really appreciate your help and advice with this.

It was an all-matching vet bring-back K98. Just kidding.

It is a Romanian single shot .22 competition rifle.

Haha, you should show that lady your target and ask her what the problem was.

on the face of the target write "so what seems to be the problem" and put the distance and grouping size fold it into an envelope and write on the outside " sorry for the trouble" and have her give it to her husband.lol...but on second thought that would just pissem off more...hhmmmm...lol

Good plan, I thought about shooting a critter with it, put it's decaying carcass in a sack and taking it to her as a "no hard feelings " gesture... but that would be frickin' evil.
