Need help on choice of CZ 452 .22lr Training vs Lux vs Utlra lux

Dear All.
It is the first time I want to buy a gun. I am trying to make a decision on CZ452 .22lr. I would like to use iron sight. anyone can tell me if the sight system and trigger system are the same as in all three Training, lux, and ultra lux ? I am not very concern about the stock.

BTW, all new guns go with gun case from dealer or I have to buy one by myself?
any comments are appreciated.

Thanks all and have a great weekend.

The only one I have seen up close is the Lux with the 28" barrel, beech stock and tangent sights. AFAIK, all the CZ .22s have the same triggers except the Varmint version which has a set trigger. I have the Mannlicher (*chuckle*) myself. The Scout seems like a youth model to me, but maybe I am not remembering right. Never heard of an Ultra Lux.

Buy the best you can afford !!!

I have a Trainer, the best alround 22 lr I've owen. You can add 4x32 scope with high rings, use standard vel. ammo and shoot that rifle allday. When you move up to lux or altra lux you paying for a rifle to trade or sell later.

I have an older Lux. It has a 25" barrel I believe. Looking at the CZ-USA website, the Lux now has a 28" barrel. The 452 American has a 22.6" barrel.

My Lux shoots just over an inch at 100 with RWS Subsonic Hollow Points with a Leopold 4x rimfire scope.

Get what you want. You won't be disappointed.

CZ 452 trainer . 22 lr. The longer barrel is not needed for accuracy. Simmons 22 mag scope. Federal Champs.

Billy, I have the Ulta Lux with the 28.5 inch barrel. The first time I shot it, I had my hearing protection on. I was using wolf match ammo. When I fired the first shot, I looked over at my buddy and asked him did it go off? With the hearing protection on, I could not hear that rifle go off. It sounds crazy, but I stopped shooting and walked to my target and saw the hoe the bullet made. After that, I took the protection off, and could not beleive how quiet that rifle is. To me it is not much louder than a BB rifle. After the wolf ammo, I changed to some CCI short subsonics. Very very quiet. Mister squirrel needs to look out. Bigman
