I think the cop did the right thing, It was a simple case of an idiot needing an attitude adjustment and the guy that got hit took care of it. no need to push the matter. the fact that the guy was gay is being used as a political tool at this point.

Too true but it doesn't have to be just a Gay guy, it is any guy! Any cop or doctor will tell you that a bite from a person will almost certainly result in a nasty infection. Much worse than some animals. A person's mouth harbours all sorts of nasty bacteria, and if that bacteria gets into your system you are in trouble.

Im realy surprised to hear nothing happend. Denver has a policy of taking everyone in and arresting them. Most asspecialy in an assult situation, and at the very least one person is guaranteed a trip to jail. Its good and bad at the same time. The policy stops bullies, but then it also alows dumb asses to run there mouths as much as they wish. There are people here that think you can treat people as bad as you want as long as you only use your mouth. Personaly I am on the side that allows mutual combat.

You have to say it, in these days. Like wunhunglo said, it doesn't matter if the person is gay or not, really.. A buddy of mine left a bar many years ago and was followed by a dude. Turns out the guy was gay and attempted to pick up my buddy while he was getting into his car...My buddy is 6'4", and ill-tempered. When the gay dude decided to touch my buddys shoulder, he cold-cocked him in the mouth, and cut his knuckles. He was worried sick for months, and decided to get a aids test. Turns out he was ok but he went through hell.

Yes...but the harping on the gay thing bugged me.

Trust me, I know how a human mouth gets. You vacuum some post-mortem purge out of there or see how rapidly the "ick" propagates after death and you won't forget.

I also think your buddy totally overreacted. Women get that all the time and don't get to bust guys in the mouth. I've been hit on by gay guys and just told them it wasn't gonna happen. Hopefully he learned a lesson about self-control. Lots of reasons not to fight casually. That's just another one.

The only reason I brought up the gay thing was that it was mentioned in the original post, and aids, of course, is a death sentence.Fighting with a person, whether gay or straight, can lead to alot of consequences, of which aids is one, which a gay or straight person may have.. But yes...another reason we disinfect the floors in Krav Maga class if anyone ends up bleeding. Fortunately it's usually from an elbow or you open your knuckles of a heavy bag or focus pads.
