This one was one of my "early" projects using Tung oil. I was very pleased with the results. For those of you that have not tried it, it is very forgiving in that it doesn't show "streaks" and goes on very smoothly. Follow the directions and "play with it" a bit until you get the feel of how it sets up. Don't apply it too heavily, just rub it on until it starts to "drag" a bit.... Better to apply numerous thin coats then try to apply 2 or 3 heavy coats -- you'll see the difference.

I'll post some later projects that I've done since then in the next few weeks.......

I have 4 M95s at the moment, and refinished a couple of the stocks, but nothing that looks that good! Very nice work.

Last day of my rifle range before it closes for the winter is Monday. Need to try the new 150 grain reloads I made before it is too late.
