I carry:

-wallet with credit-card multitool

-Cell phone in pocket

-keys on carabiner

-Smokes

-at least one lighter or other means of fire

-Customized Glock 21 (gift from my uncle;R.I.P) with 1 or 2 13rd magazines

-Gerber AR 3.0 plain edge folder

-Buck single blade mini pocket knife

-loose change (at least $2)

-Survival kit in a plastic Marlboro dip tin. (got it free with a coupon, just dumped the stuff and made a kit)

-sometimes, not always, a dummy wallet. It's to throw at a mugger who demands my money to distract him while I draw the Glock.

-Not yet, but soon; my Concealed Carry badge. It should be on its way in the next few days.

and that's about it. I might carry more or less depending on where I go during the day.

Wallat
Mobile phone on belt
Slip 3'' K-Bar pocket knife
Wrist Watch
LED light
Mag light in each vehicle

I sometimes carry my .45 Colt Officers' 1911 and extra mag concealed, but since I frequently go aboard two Marine bases in my area, I have to limit carrying locally (base regs). I do travel with it, or a full size 1911 when we leave town or go out at night.

Until they put a metal detector at the courthouse, I usually carried a tactical folder and a .45 derringer around along with the routine pocket stuff.
I only carry a cell phone in the winter to keep the battery from dying. Round here you can't get a signal anyway, so I only turn the thing on when I need to call somebody and can get a signal. Its for emergency use only and the first 1000 minutes lasted me something like close to two years.
(pre paid! LOL)
Since that time, I lost my tactical folder and have been carrying a stag handled folder with a damascus blade till I can replace the knife I lost.
(Prior to that, I carried a Cold Steel Scimitar, but I kept getting teased because of how big it was for a folder).
Now, in my vehicle, I carry emergency food, emergency meds (I am diabetic), bottles of water, containers for water and food, a bowie knife, a pocket knife, a bullet proof vest and other things that would be better to have and not need than to need and not have....
I also carry ammo for 9mm, .45, .357, .45 Colt and any other weapons I own even if I am not carrying that particular weapon, along with "Clinton Clips for a Glock 19 (ten rounders) and 1911 clips.
Spare clothes too and a blanket and lots and lots of cord. Cord is the most useful stuff in the world when crap happens. I remember when a buddy had to tie his bumper on when we were 90 miles from home and had a fender bender...
I used to carry my camping gear with me, some time back, but somebody broke into my car and stole it, so I have to replace that.
I am currently putting together a small survival kit in a messenger bag so I will be able to grab it and go if need be.

Doesn't everyone??? lol

I had a meeting several weeks ago in a small board room and I'll be damned if I wasn't the one of the only guys in there that didn't have one of those damn things in their ear the entire time!

Next time I'll be ready.. I've got to head back over there next month, so I will be busting this out on 'em and wearing it the whole time!! Then they will know that that I have the technical supremeness!!!
