The owner of the gun shop I do work for, picked me up a mess of parts and old stocks, awhile back, for $250. I just found an 03-A3 action, and new barrel, in the stuff! I only need a few parts, to put it back together. What are the odds of finding good stuff in junk? I also came across a decent monte carlo stock, for one of my mausers, and an almost complete Jap action and barrel. The jap barrel is in good shape, too! I really lucked out, on this one!
Wow! Best I ever did was to come across a Parker underlever action only -- no lever, no wood, no barrels -- for $10. I messed with it a while with no luck finding parts and sold it for $30 at a show.

Glad to hear about your good fortune.
Usually if I look through a pile of junk it just that --- junk.
I'll keep looking though. Maybe I'll get lucky like you did.

I almost forgot, there's an old Remington model 12A in the stuff. I checked on parts to rebuild it, and it looks like about $225, to rebuild it. Think it'd be worth rebuilding?
Dookie, I have the stock, and a brand new barrel, that was in with the other junk. I don't understand how they could have missed it! The barrel was screwed into the action, and didn't line up, because the ring was left off. They must have thought it was bad! If you'd like, I'll see what I can do, pricewise, about an action, for you. I don't try to get rich, off of parts. I can put this one back together, for about $190. I've seen the A3's go as high as $1200, at some of the gun shows. But I have some suppliers, who are pretty reasonable. PM me, and I'll check 'em out. I will have to send it to the nearest dealer, if you don't have a C&R license.
I oonly got one, Jimkim, but I do have several suppliers, who are pretty reasonable. I can check, and see what the price is, for an 03-A3 reciever. I get a pretty good break, on parts, from some of my parts people.
