OH, MY GOD!

Has anyone seen the all out anti-gun rhetoric this site has? Think they're in bed with the Brady bunch.
Violence Policy Center

Check out the link on the left side, in white letters in the red block that says .50 calibers. Then click on "Criminal use of the .50 caliber sniper rifle". The rest of the titles in the .50 caliber section are just as bogus. Heck, they're all bogus scare tactic rhetoric.

AND YOU'D HAVE TO BE ONE HECK OF A SHOT TO TAKE OUT AN AIRLINER AT 30,000 FEET. LMAO AND OH MY GOD, THEY HAVE/GIVE SUCH A SCENARIO IN A PDF FILE. TALK ABOUT GIVING PEOPLE IDEAS? WHAT MORONS!

Look what they have under, what would happen in D.C. with the passing of bill H.R. 6842? http://www.vpc.org/fact_sht/gunsofDC.pdf

TALK ABOUT PHOBIAS!!! TALK ABOUT PARANOIA!!!

It kinda reminds me of all the news programs that showed how to make a high-explosive from NH4NO3 and C12H23 after the OK city bombing. I couldn't believe it.

You think maybe they're just a bunch of morons?

Are you up early, Scotty, or am I just up late? I worked five 12-hour graveyards, then slept all day because I thought I'd have to work another. So now I'm all screwed up on my sleep; probably take me the entire week off to get straight again.

Hi, Troy. I'm up, because I rescued a five week old kitten some ignorant fool dropped in the middle of the road. She needs to eat, every few hours, and I was elected, since I saved her life. I got an hours sleep, yesterday, and am pretty rum dumb. All the kitten's litter mates had been run over, and when I saw her move, I hit the brakes, and grabbed her out of the road, before another car came by. The vet hospital gave us the necessary stuff, to feed her, at no charge. Strange, but they seem to care about the welfare of animals, too. If she makes it, she's going to be my gunshop cat, to keep the mice under control. The little buggers sneak into the building, when it gets cold, and make a mess. I did manage to get three jobs finished, yesterday, and then fell asleep, holding the little thing. She woke me up, wanting to eat, so here I am.

Well, Scotty, no good deed goes unpunished. But hang in there.

I was supposed to be home early this morning, so I could give my nr 2 son some advice on tires to buy for his car, and tune his engine before he heads off for a smog check. He's about to become gloriously independent, and have his own transportation for the first time in his life. But it's almost 4:00 AM, and I'm not even finished drinking beer yet. Gonna be a long, miserable three-hour drive home, I suspect...

I like mice. If the little s***s would learn to stop chewing up things and peeing everywhere, I'd let them swarm. But they won't, so I can't.

That's the problem! They're cute, but oh so destructive! They chew holes in everything, and get in the feed, and ruin it. They leave their little crap balls everywhere. I just can't tolerate the little monsters, anymore. I figure, getthis kitten grown, and I have a weapon of mouse destruction! Hey, not bad, when I'm only running on three cylinders. Our last child left the nest, six years ago, and we thought, finally! But it gets a bit lonely, with 'em all gone. The youngest is being recalled to active duty, a month after graduating from the academy, and becoming a full time officer, at Lawrence Livermore Lab. We hope they keep his job, for him, because it was what he wanted to do, as a profession. The males in the family always seem to lean toward dangerous jobs, I just can't figure that out. Well, time to feed the kitten, see ya, a little later.

Good job Seebee. Some of us still have a soft spot for small unprotected things like cats and dogs.

33,000 feet? Lessee isn't that just short of six miles? Can the .50 BMG have a range anywhere close to that. I read about the 1879 experiment in South Carolina where a target (a very large one) was hit at a range of just short of two miles. And that was with a .45-70 Govt. But I think 33,000 feet is just stretching it a little. Even for a .50 BMG.

Actually 33,000 ft is 6.25 miles....and yeah, highly doubtful for anything short of a SAM.

Yeah, I used to get tons of literature from Violence Policy Center when I was a law enforcement instructor at our academy. They are actually a lobbying group bent on gun control and a big one at that; and yes, they are tied in with the Brady crowd.

I used to subscribe to statistics and lesson forums from National Institute of Justice which was/is a Justice Department agency to get data for my classes, but being under the influence of Janet Reno and Bill Clinton at the time, they shared my mailing address with Violence Policy Center who tried to inflate, redefine, or contradict everything the NIJ researched. One example was to include gang members up to age 22 who were killed in gang hits as child deaths due to gun violence. A lot of us saw right through it due to the nature of our work, but the mainstream media used to quote those stats all the time.

To sort of quote you (or someone else) when someone gets a new gun I have to ask:
"Photos?"

They're on CGO's camera, and since I got a digital, for the shop, hers is hands off, for the old man. When she gets back, I'll ask her to put them on the computer. It's a cute little thing, and is learning to take the bottle, like a champ. I think it'll be okay, with us able to feed it.

Who's the boss?
Just go to her, take that camera, and post the photos.
Then post the photos of your black eye you got when she smacked you!
That way we will all know who is the boss!

(Like my house, her!!)

Wait a minute, she's gone. Why do I have to mind, when she's gone? I'll have them on, in a few minutes!
