Cold Steel products

I was just curios as to who here has used Cold steel products from Cold Steel High Performance Knives

I have been thinking about buying a few items from them such as
KUKRI MACHETES

and
OSS

I wont be buying them at the same time but Im thinking about ordering hte Machete next pay check and the nife check after. But I just wanted to see if any one in here has bought from them before and how you liked the customer service and the products.

Their okay...I've only bought the cheaper ones though... "Roach Belly" and the new "GI Tanto" with the plastic handle...I carry the GI Tanto under my truck seat.

I used one to gut and cut up my cow elk. Worked great and held a sharp edge.

I've got the shorter Kukri machete. Works great! I paid about $25 for mine off eBay and I couldn't be happier! Everyone that sees it working is impressed by it!

I havnt decided if I want the short Machete or the long one. Im leaning towards the long one at the momant. They look like they are good knives but I always try to find out from owners if they are really decent products before I buy a product im new too.

Cold Steel is a good knife at a value price. If you can get any of them in the high carbon steel I would look at that. They are easier to sharpen and hold an edge better but will rust if not taken care of. I have a couple of them and really like them.

I have been thinking about maby buying this one. Slip it in the side of my boot and it will be covered with my pants, no one will even know its there unless in self defence.

Double Agent : Boot and Neck Knives (Fixed Blade)

Pretty cool knife design. Those rings are beginning to catch on. I like you basic Ontario machetes for woods. I keep a 12" in my truck all the time. The longer ones are more flexible for cutting things that move like weeds, briars, and so forth.

Cold Steel products are generally very good for the price. That is what makes them sell. I have always wanted their larger bowie type blade, Trailmaster I believe it is called. In the past, they have had a much less expensive one similar to it.

I have multiple C.S. knives and the LTC kukri and have been impressed every time. The LTC will out chop just about any axe out there and my large clip point voyager has pulled me out of just about any situation imaginable. Don't be afraid to try one.

Im really thinking about next week ordering the Gerkha Kukri. I have been doing some research on it and watched some videos on you tube on it and it seems to be a good knife, strong and seemed to hold an edge well.

I have the Nightshade Kerambit in my shower. Won't rust and you can put an edge on with sandpaper.
I have a Nightshade push dagger mounted near my seat belt release in my truck, and I carried a SRK while on active duty and with the Nat. Guard.
Cold Steel makes a good product and at a good price. I like all of mine.

I carry a C.S. "Spike" as a back-up knife in my off hand inside boot while on duty. Just in case. Over a year in my boot, not a spec of rust, lots of "fum-unda-funk" build up on the handel.

I like the trail boss hatchet and the double agent. I really like the double agent because I do mixed martial arts and in a defensive situation it allows me more options to strike in a blade down position without breaking my knuckles.

I have several cold steel knives and several randalls as well and i think for the money the cold steel knives are the better value. they hold a edge you cant hurt one and they dont cost as much as a randall. i havent gotten my grubby little paws on a martin to compare but when i do i will let you know.

I have the "Bushman Bowie" and a Panga machete. The bushman came super sharp, you can shave with it. The Panga machete is awesome it cost me around $10 and is the best machete I've ever used and the only one I use now. They both are high carbon steel and hold a great edge.
