Dusted off the old krag
Recently I have pulled my old 1899 carbine krag out, it has been years since I have actually shot it. I have a question about what kicks the shell out when the bolt pulls it out of the bore, I can't remember. This old thing isn't sporterized, it was my great granpa's, handed down to me by my grandfather along with a sweet 10/22 ruger and a auto 1148 remington 12 guage.
I cycled the shells thru it, no kickout and I've noticed some slop in the bolt when it is pulled back, I don't remember it being that way, I just didn't pay enough attention then.
Thanks for any help that someone might provide,
