I have a model 1899 krag carbine that has been sporterised. I would like to find the following parts in order to restore carbine to its original configuration.
stock and buttplate, rear and front sights, handguard.
The carbine also has a very unusual rear sight. It looks as if it is an integral part of the bolt cover. I have been told by one collector that it was an add on (I sent photo) However, I can not find any seam or crack (where parts go together) If anyone has knowledge or source of knowledge on krag sights please contact me.
