Well, we've been known to stutter, when confronted with the real thing.

There was a movie actress a while back who said she'd rather undress in front of men than in front of other women, because women are judgmental. Whereas men, of course, are just grateful...

Well the answer to that all depends on how far back you wanna go.

You wanna know when the split came between us and chimps? Or the split between the lines that would go on to become monkeys and apes?

Great or Lesser apes? Old or New World monkeys?

You want primates splitting from mammals in general? That's all the way back in the late Cretaceous.

Our line's one of the earlier mammalian lines to split off way back when. Had lots of time to differentiate.

Well, so far this has just been the usual crowd talking about waiting for something to happen so they can all watch.

Me? I'm enjoying watchign the watchers as they get bored watching nothing going on.

First Human was Homo Habilis (handy man). First one to make tools.

He evolved from Australopithecus (southern ape). Though it stood erect and walked Bipedal like us, it was still an ape because it did not have opposable thumbs like Habilis. From there, Apes went their way and we went ours. 5 MYA

Funny thing about these "prophecies", they are so darn cryptic, that they can be applied to just about any major world event, for example, a war in the Middle East suddenly becomes the Battle of Armageddon. And of course, and only during an election, one or both candidates begin to develop symptoms of being the AntiChrist. If it was true prophecy, don't you think it would be a little more specific? true prophecy should be able to give us names, and dates, without beating around the bush. I am of the opinion that the Book of Revelations should be read only in the context of which it was written
