Mini 14 = dead deer

this Central Florida 7 point went about 20 feet after I put one of my 60 gr. reloads in his heart

Nice deer Blaster,but watch out for everyone going to give you crap for shooting Bambi with a 223. We shoot them all the time with a 223 here in Texas too.

yes sir........

still one of the best bullets i've seen in a .223 was a trophy bonded bear claw----------recovered on the off-side just under the hide. perfect mushroom and only lost about 3 grains in weight...............

nice buck... how much did it weigh?
how big do they get down there?
are they still whitetails down there? pardon me but I am not familiar with southern deer.

Trophy bonded are great bullets. Been meaning to try'em in my Savage 110 .223.

yes our deer are white tails. that buck probably weighed 120 lbs which is on the large side, I have shot many legal bucks under 100 lbs. the bullet/ load I use is a Hornandy 60 gr psp and 25 gr of H-335. it goes a nominal 2800 fps. usually they pass through at that range (35 yds) but this one hit the sholder blade and turned the heart/lungs into a gooey red mush. I never could find the bullet.
