P95 no longer made!

I read in another forum that people were wondering if Ruger would discontuinue the P95 since the SR9 is available now. Probably not. The US ARMY just bought 5,000 P95's. In stainless steel mind you! I'm waiting for a new blued one to show up at Gallery of Guns.

No way...work horse of Ruger...I have two of them.

The older model with smooth grips and the newer model with stippled grips and accessory rail...

I thought the army used the Beretta? Did they switch?

SR9 & P series are two different animals. I can't confirm at the moment they are discontinuing any P series, but doubt it.

The purchase of 5k Ruger pistols took lace in 2004. They went to the RI arsenal. From there, hard telling where they went. We had a pilot who had to get a 1911 issued for some special purpose & ended up with a never issued Colt from there. Wierd how they operate.

Does that mean the price will drop when the new model replaces it? I have a P89 and love it, and wouldn't mind getting a P95. Anyone know if the magazines are inter-changeable between the P series models?

Sweet so hopefully they will drop in price, and I may pick one up. I always like the two-tone look of the P95.

I'll trade my Essex frame, national match barrel, adjustable recoil spring stainless model with Pachmayr grips and target sights even up for it. How do I arrange the deal?

I usually order my guns from Gallery of Guns and they ship it to my dealer in St. Charles, Missouri. Problem is, they never get enough of the P95's in stock to get one. Last week they had two show up and they were sold when I was in the process of ordering one. I want the blued one. Don't like the black frame/stainless slide look. Looks like a toy! Still waiting!!!!!!!!!
