I have seen the article before. The only heartburn I have is the sander for chamber throats. The throats can be oval, S shaped, tapered, all kinds of different shapes. A good reamer, recutting the tight, colorfully shaped throats to a good .4525" straight cut, is IMO, far better than the method shown in the article.
Recutting the forcing cone is usually required as well. I have seen them cut off center, rough, etc. Recutting to a concentric 11 degrees can be a big help.
