All I've ever heard about Sako is that they are awesome! I have two friends with Sakos and Sig pistols. They liken the Sako on the same level of quality as their Sig's. Enjoy!

Yea, I too have never heard anything bad about Sako's. Be sure and share with us some pictures of your new toy. I'd love to see it. How pricey is that ammo? Do you or do you plan on reloading for it also?

I was window shopping a little while ago and was wondering just how good and accurate the Mossberg ATR100 in .308 is? Comes with a scope and bipod. And the MSRP I think was $610 or thereabout?

Didn't mean to nor am I trying to hijack your thread or anything. It's just kind of a similar thing is all. I have a Mossberg 12ga. model 500 shotgun and have heard nothing but good about Mossbergs shotguns, but have no clue about their/ this particular rifle/s. Similar to your concern with the Sako is all. Only I didn't buy it. YET. lol

I have a Sako in 7mmRemMag that I have owned for 30 years !! I wouldn't trade it, period. You are getting one top class rifle. Take care of her, and she will serve you for a lifetime. I also like your choice of scope, but you didn't tell us what power it is !!
