Nice post. I like the way it all fits in the briefcase, and if his prices are correct it would be affordable.

I own the Kel Tec sub 2k that pairs with the Beretta 92, it's a great combo.

You know this is kind of off topic but since i was the original poster i feel i can post it. He made a very good point about how a breifcase is very inconspicuous, i know a friend who doesn't carry gear it it but it is for his art supplies, but even if you go to school or work at a gas station it is not that conspicous. you could carry your 10 essentials or even 20 or 30 essentials with you every where.

I've considered the Kel-Tec Sub2K for quite some time now to match with my Glock 27... I know, I know, I can't use the 27 mags, but I have a 23 mag and two 22 mags that can be used. I also love the idea of being able to use a carbine in the ammo I use for my carry ammo.

oh second thought, i don't really see a need to bring a 9mm carbine with me in public, so i would probably buy something that i would want to get anyway. forinance i want a cx4 sooner or later.

Although inconspicuous, going through any x-ray or metal detectors or any other system set-up for security would detect, see, find it.

But I really do like the way all that fits in a case no bigger then your standard business size briefcase.

[quote=just_a_car]I also love the idea of being able to use a carbine in the ammo I use for my carry ammo.[quote]

Why I'm looking at getting a Beretta CX4 Storm in .40S&W or .45acp. Seven started a thread about it yesterday and it really got me thinking about it again. Was looking at one at a gun shop near me a while back and got bit by the Storm bug. It isn't out of my system yet.

Hey binabik, if you know who gets you know what on a certain day in Nov., you better make it sooner than later as the magazine the Storms take, whether it be in 9mm, .40S&W or even .45acp, and going by any mags or firearm taking mags that hold 6 or more rounds, (according to a certain 5yr. plan), puts all of them on the hit list. So make it sooner than later if you really want one.

And great little find while looking for gun porn, thank you for sharing. Here's a link to some gun porn, with bonuses for ya'.

I agree. If I take anything from this thread it is that it is quite nice to be able to have the "much-needed essentials" in an inconspicuous briefcase like that. Naturally, you can't carry it everywhere. But just being in your car or if you carry it to and from your house a lot it wouldnt get a second look.

Though, what we really need are these:

A bit of tactical deception in daily activities...

...and, it's amazingly effective/invisable when practiced regularly.

Yeah, if you run across a hardcore gun-owning tennis player he might call you out on it, haha.

Rimjob- I think what you have is more practical than a nice shiny case. If someone were to break into your vehicle (smash and grab) I would think they would steal a nice looking case over a tennis racket.
Maybe if this guy were to camouflage it by putting the case in an old diaper bag it would be a non de-script case. My 2 cents.
A buddy of mine picked up a violin case at a second hand store, installed foam padding, and cut out inserts for his twin LLama .45's and had room for 8 mags. Nice setup.
Also, at the Western Washington gun show, there is a vendor that sells Yamaha keyboard cases, and markets them as "politically correct shotgun cases". They model it with a Mossburg pistol grip.
Hide in plain sight.

.

Hardly a novel idea, the Thompson smg used to fit them just nicely in the 20's!!
