i have a 835 i use for turkey hunting this year i am useing it for deer hunting i use comp-n-choke choke tubes for turkey hunting i got on there web site to see what choke to use with buckshot in a moss 835 they recommend number #4 or #1 buckshot useing a x full choke or a xx full i already have a xx full so i will try the winchester supreme 3 inch # 1 buckshot . they dont get any better than comp-n-choke i will let you know how it patterns

I would lean towards a little more open choke than wahts needed for Turkey loads the buckshot your using for DEER are much larger than #4 shot or #1 buck--you will have to test pattren it to see what works best in your gun.- -JMJ--

Ya Im with you on that. The ultra full chockes are necked down pretty tight..Id be a lil leary of shootin buckshot out of them..even if safe..would probably string the pattern
