quick question when theres a thing called a magnum shotgun shell dose that mean i cant use it in a normal shotgun or is it just a more powerful shell. i was talking to a freind bout guns the otherday.

The only place I've seen them available is on gunbroker, and they were either 9mm, used, or too high a price (especially when factoring in transfer and shipping).
I've heard that Hi-Point is having trouble meeting demand, but are ANY rifles getting to dealers? Is anybody seeing these guns in their local gun shops? | In each of the stores that I've recently visited, which normally carry Hi-Points, I've seen reduced numbers of them available...

what i am wondering is why ban the highpoint if it only hold 10 round to begin with??ain't that in the legal limits of even the most toughest states ??? maybe thats why highpoint never wanted to pursue the higher capacity round mags for thier carbines. am i wrong here ?

Where was that picture taken Rimjob? Looks like a gun show. I LOVE those new 995s! That is a bad lookin hi point! What do you know about the arrival of the new models? Has anyone heard when they will be on the market? I had heard a while ago that they'd be out in Aug '08 but obviously that was wrong. Also, has anyone heard if we'll be able to buy the new stocks for our old 995s? I have two and I'd buy the new stock for both of them in a heartbeat!
The hi point carbines will go from fugly to sweet!
Now that I look closer, that pic does look like it might be the .45. but the pics I've seen of the 9mm look like they have the same stock. Whatever it is I WANT ONE!

The pic is from the SHOT show.. I found it on the Hi Point forum. You've got a good question about the newer stocks (assuming they produce them) fitting the older carbines.. My guess is that they will. I sure wish they'd get the ball rolling soon!!
Looked at the ATI stocks??? Makes it resemble a beretta cx4 storm.
4595... ???? Date has been pushed back again and again! Hopefully one day!!
and yes Shrek that is the illusive unobtanium!!

Yes I like the ATI stocks but I've been holding out and hoping the new hi point stocks will be availible soon. But I can't wait much longer. I'll probably do one of my hi points with the ATI and do some kind of custom job on my other.

| Can't find Hi-point 40 carbines anywhere
The maker is not producing the 40 cal anymore at this time and they don't know when they will resume. Most likely they never will again.
You will be hard pressed to get one and if a dealer says it is on backorder they are not waiting for the manufacture, they are waiting to get it from another dealer, so you are in for a long wait. Just keep searching till you find one when you do get it. The gun is well worth it, i have shot over 2,000 rounds thru my 4095 and have never had a problem. It is deadly accurate every time. Good luck.
