Spanish Destroyer Carbine

Has anyone used the subject carbine?
Fabulous little gun. Most are chambered for the 9mm Largo. Inexpensive to shoot and a lot of fun.

Destroyer Carbine

Interesting in that 1911 mags can be made to fit it and the Largo is a 9x23. How hard are they to find?

I'll give it a shot but no promises. Last time I loaded photos, it was a disaster.

Pretty difficult to find the little shooter. Keep your eye out at gun shows. I found several at gun shows in the PNW but ammo was elusive back then. Now ammo is doable but the guns are elusive.
Perseverence will pay off however.
There was one on GunsAmerica.com but the starting bid was $500; too much in my opinion. $250-300 is more the correct area.
The mags you mention are for the 1911 .38 Super. The 9mm Largo is just a wee bit too long for the .45 mag; plus the lips on the .45 magazine need to be closed to retain the Largo case. When you start messing with 1911 mag lips, it is really easy to render the magazine useless.

Well,your pic wasn't a desaster this time,looks good.
For a while they had some hi-cap mags available in the SGN.

Have one. Love it. No real recoil, sounds more like a .22 and magazines and ammo are dirt cheap. If you see one at a reasonable price JUMP on it - or I will .

I've heard of 10 rounders but haven't found any yet.

Axel, they really are fun and if we see one for sale at the same time...well...may the faster man win...lol
