I was thinking about picking one of these little carbines up for a truck/shtf kind of gun. Do any of you guys have any experience (good or bad) with this weapon. I was thinking of the 9mm that takes glock mags. Thanks fellas.

Mine takes Beretta 92 mags, compact, light recoil, accurate.

I have a 9mm that takes Glock mags and is hard chromed. Works great. The last group I shot at the range with WW White box went 1.5 inches at 50 yards. The Glock model takes the 33 shot mags which I think is an advantage. Well worth the money.

I'd say go for it....got mine about 2 months ago from www.gunbroker.com in Glock 40S&W ...no complaints, no FTF's , no extraction problems, I don't believe you can beat it for the price. On a scale of 1 to 10...it has a cool factor of about 12.

I have an older SUB 9 as well as a Storm (both in 9mm) and love both for different reasons, The Compactness and ability to quickly deploy the SUB 9 is awesome, but the Beretta's ergonomics and handling are too sweet (Just feels too darned good in your hands!). I've not yet had a good chance to do a good side by side but I beleive the Beretta will probably have an edge in accuracy and of course the ablity to mount a scope etc, The one thing I don't like about the Sub 9 is not being able to use an alternate sight system and sights are not one of the sub 9's strong points, although adequate.
Oh, and one other thing as an aside, in comparing the sub 9 and sub 2000 I am glad that I picked up the 9, as although it's a little heavier I prefer the all metal / non-corrugated receiver over the newer polymer ones.
