yep, CD jumped on the bandwagon with everyone else. the problem with CD is they change who makes their guns for them faster than some folks change underwear.

Well after seeing this I was window shopping at GB and ran across this. Yep, you said it lefty, they jumped onto/into the bandwagon. But me thinks they did so a lil too late? That is with what may come?

Anyhow,

Weren't their shotguns being made by the same Turk manufacturers who do the Stoeger's for Benelli? Or were they Brazillian? Thought I remember reading that.

Thanks, good to know that at least. I've never been overly impressed. However, I thought I remembered that from ordering a self defense CD 12 gauge for a customer.

the one gun CD sold that was a truly excellent gun was the O/U shotguns made in miroku japan. other than those, its a crap shoot.

Thumbs up

Those G&G members interested in following this thread on Charles Daly, discuss which forum is best and I'll be glad to move it there.

it surely belongs under manufacturers. otherwise anybody that makes a 1911, or AR would be included under military firearms. CD has definately never made a firearm for anybody's military.

Yep.. Stick it under manufacturers.. They don't make anything, and we already have 1911 and AR rifle forums, which people can post about them as easily as posting about a Colt 1911 or any AR manufacturer..

They don't belong in Military anymore than Winchester does.. Acually less, since Winchester made military guns...

Neither does Browning-though their contractors have always been top-notch (FN, Miroku, et al)

Exactly. This belongs in the Manufacturer sub forum, with all the other manufacturers, same as Browning, Remington, etc..

As I mentioned, if it's here because of the fact that they're putting their name on 1911's or AR15's, we already have forums for those weapons that cover all manufacturers of them.

If someone want's to talk CD, it should be put in with the Manufacture sub forums. Since the only thing that's been discussed since this started is the fact that it doesn't belong here, maybe even sticking it on with Manufactures would be a tall order?
