i did everything myself, its got a piece of the original stock with M-4 front sight, m-16 grenade launcher slide foregrip, m-4 tri rail upper grip, AR-15 rear stock, m-16 flat top rail and carry handle sight, and a 308 flash suppressor. lot of time in the workshop with a hacksaw, drill and some crazy ideas
thanks i wanted something tactial for cheap and i saw the 995 at my friends gun shop so i bought it and started modifying. if it would have been a high priced carbine i would'nt have had the bag to hack it up, lol
check out what it looks like now! i cut more of the stock out so the barrel is longer and put half an ar foregrip on the top instead of the tri rail upper grip. and painted it OD green. And a few extra pics for those of you who think it might be fake
Only thing is...unless you know where to find high-capacity mags for the HP (do es anyone even make them??)...the best you can ever do is ten shots...well, plus one inna chamber for 11...that's IT...ugh.

Nice job! I really like the work you've done. I've been thinking about customizing my hi point carbine and you've inspired me with ideas! But tell me something, how were you able to mount the AR type stock tube into the hard plastic of the original hi point stock?
i actually used high end airsoft parts to customize this. they are cheap and rugged enough for these small caliber carbines. i just took the tube and lag bolted it through a piece of 3/4 inch plastic that i screwed to the cut off part of the original stock and then put the stock on it. that simple. if your gonna try it make sure you cut it off at a structural part of the stock so you have something to screw to

Forgive me if I'm asking too many questions, but I still can't figure how you would bolt the stock tube to the 3/4" plastic piece. Did your lag bolt fit snuggly into the stock tube? Do you have any close up pics from the inside of the stock as you assembled it? I'd love to see how it was done.
