All USGI with marked parts being TRW built on a SA Inc reciever. Small parts came from CMP when they sold them and was built with a NOS TRW barrel. Rifle is no longer wearing a scope. Tried it a few times and I prefer irons |

s/n 0164xx should be a early to mid 81 build. I have 0155xx and it was born on 10-80. Be sure and check the bolt recall, that era of bolt had some soft ones. If you e-mail SA with the stamped #'s on the bolt they well tell you if it needs replacement. If it does they well send you a shipping box with label to return the complete rifle for repair. Does not make any difference if your the original owner or not. That's great customer service.

That's great customer service. | Thanks for the heads up on that, I didn't know about the recall, I would have thought that it was older then that, the exterior of the barrel is pretty pitted, reciever isn't in that good of shape either!
