I'm neither disgruntled nor blindly partisan (and you should know better).
I'm just totally unwilling to drink the Kool Aid, and will never let spin or blind wishful thinking get in the way of truth. I also calls them like I sees them, and rationalizing away accountability for choices in life will never be in my character.
And, again, you are free to make whatever choices you choose to make in your own life or believe whatever you like. If rationalizing makes you a happier individual, I'm not one to say that's not OK--it just wouldn't work for me.
In this light, I do believe Powell's comment about Palin was either a rationalization or (more likely) a thinly veiled kool-aid sales pitch for obama consistent with the obamedia trashing of Ms. Palin. To say that Barack Hussein was in any way more qualified for the job of President than Palin is just plain ludicrious. And for the #1 major test, at least Ms. Palin follows her constitutional oath and sworn duty. Hussein not so much.
But I think we'll see this for ourselves.
