Super Redhawk .44mag.

Hey guys,
I am new to the forum, and had question about a shoulder rig for my Super Redhawk 7 1/2" unscoped. I am interested in finding a true shoulder rig, (not bandoleir style) to carry this beast. I would like leather, but a nice good quality nylon rig will due. Would like to keep the price about $150 or less. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance.

When you hook together "super", "redhawk" and ".44" you're going to get my attention...

...and I'll be watching your thread for what is recommended.

Thanks for the thread and welcome to G&G...

...carrying a .44 sounds/reads good to me.

Uncle Mikes makes a nylon one. We also have some made up here that ride on your chest instead of under your arm.

This one has mixed reviews.
Galco makes SRH holsters, putting a 7.5 inch Xlarge frame revolver under your arm is a tough order. Mine is scoped and I use a chest rig.

Thanks for the replies, what I am looking to do is use it for concealed carry upon ocasion. YES, I know! But once in a while you just get the urge to roll "Dirty" Harry Calihan style. With winter getting close I can easily conceal it in a true shoulder rig under my jacket. Tahnks again for the help, keep it coming.

P.S. You have to love a country that has been kept free enough that its citizens still have the constitutional rite to legally walk the streets with a piece of equipment like this..................Thank you, to all those that fight to keep it that way!

Ewmoose,

I understand your CCW with a .44...

...I feel to do the same once in awhile.

My thinking is why waste bullets by being under gunned?

...'cause one well placed shot with the .44 and threat is neutralized.

i dont know who makes what anymore, but the bianchi X15 is what your looking for. its leather and places the pistol under your arm , muzzle down (couldnt hide a 7 1/2" barrel any other direction).

Galco makes a leather rig for the scoped SRH, about 150 bones. I see used ones on flea-bay from time to time.
