I bought a Mossberg Maverik short barrel shotgun and ordered the front pistol grip for it. I then found out that the front pistol grip will only work with older versions of the Mossberg 500 because on the newer versions and the Maverik the action slide is attached to the plastic forarm.
The older 500's had the forarm seperate and the action slide was attached to a sliding tube.
I want to try to get an older action slide and tube for the Maverik so I can use the front pistol grip. Now would the action slide match up to the loading mech,,are the actual slide arms the same in most of the models?
