Has anybody tried the pro mag magazines, 15 rounds, for the 995? If so, how did they work?

the pro mag 15 rounder jams like crazy . buy the 20 rounder it don't jam . don't ask me why either cuz i don't know.

I didn't know they made 20 rd. mags for the 995, either. If indeed so, who makes them, and who sells them?

I looked on the promag site, and they don't have any. I haven't found any any where else. I bought a 15 and took it to the range today, and got my fisrt malfunction. The second round from the 15 didn't feed. I cleared it and went on, and finished the mag. That is the first malfunction I have had with the 995.

I'll try the promag one again, but I suspect I can depend on the 10 round OEM when I cant on the aftermarket promag.

from what i read it's best just to stick with the stock mags. everyone who trys the promag mags says they have malfunctions .10flawless rounds is better than 15single shot jammed up rounds.. the sorta like my 30+3 mags for my glock some work good but then sometimes they get funny and they ain't so reliable. but then you pop in a regular glock mag and it's no jams??

It seems that people in the aftermarket mag. business would want to make something that WORKS. Never could find an aftmarket that would work on a Mini 14, either.

I had a 20 round mag for my 226 and only used it a few times, it did not fit well as other mags and the floorplate fell off one time while firing. Never heard anything good about pro-mag either. I go with factory or factory suggested. Like Mec-Gar.

the fit and finish on my aftermarket glock mags are exelent but i think where the problems come in is the spring tension.my stock glock mags only start to get hard to load after the first 5 rounds but then 30+3 mags are hard to load right from round one. i have to use my loader to load them even if i just put one round into them. i tried to leave them loaded for months to wear down on the spring but no luck it's just as strong as the day i bought them.
