Hello I'm new to the forum but would love to see some of the old WW2 aviation unit emblems that were worn on uniforms and painted on the aircraft and base signs,I'm sure there are plenty of them out there! Looking forward to what y'all can post!!!

Here is the insignia from My Father's Outfit "The Beagle Squadron" ...the 2d Fighter Squadron of the 52d Fighter Group USAAF WW2 where he became a P51 "Ace" shooting down 6-1/2 German Fighters.

this is a pic of the patch my dad wore during korea. he was in the Strategic Air Command stationed at March Airforce Base in CA. He worked on the B-47 Stratojets...
