H&K 9mm carbine

I have an oppertunity to obtain an H&K 9mm carbine with many accessories, collapsible stock, scope, sling, cleaning kit, etc. The weapon also has a very low serial # (285). Can someone tell me if an asking price of fifteen hundred dollars is fair? I really know nothing much about firearms. Can you tell me how much it might be worth? thanks for your help.
The carbine is a model 94 A2
