Ive thought about this before and the logical place to launch an out and out attack would be Los Vegas. Where else could they STICK IT TO THE AMERICANS better?

There will be another attack, either before or after Barry's inauguration, will may involve at least 100,000 people and it is designed to turn everyone against Muslims worldwide. Since this person knows so much about this it tells me that it is a second attack carried out by the CIA and the Massoud, and the Pakistani intelligence the same ones that did the trade towers. You have to ask your self who will benefit the most from the attack, and follow the money trails. They will probably blame it on Iran, so they can attack them making the populous of America rally behind the new leader. The only weakness we have are our ports and the open borders. They are already here. This is called false flag terrorism, carried out by the government to implement more draconian laws to further take away our freedoms, and cause more hatred and fear. Hitler used the same techniques. Cause, Reaction, solution. Hegelian philosophy. Works every time. Malls, subways, buses, nuclear plants, water treatment plants, and railways would be prime targets. With all this surveillance, only the government can pull this off by using more Islamic patsies. But we are watching them this time with instant feeds to the Internet. I am not joking. Everybody be vigilant, and be prepared for this.
Only traitors leave the gates open for the raiders.

We are on the verge of a global transformation. All we need is the right major crisis and the nations will accept the New World Order David Rockefeller
This is especially true if the people are told that there was an outside threat from beyond, whether real or promulgated, that threatened our very existence our very existence. One thing man fears is the unknown. When PRESENTED with this scenario, individual freedoms will be willingly relinquished for the guarantee of their well-being granted to them by the New World Government. Dr. Henry Kissinger, Bilderburger Conference 1991 Look it up. Who will benefit?

Well I don't gamble and I sure as heck don't use the services of working gals, but there are many targets here in Sin City where they could strike. After all they are religious nut cases that would love to kill lots of infidels. It would bankrupt this city that's for sure if there was an attack on a major casino. Everyone would be afraid to come here and that would be exactly what the terrorist would like to see.
I am glad I live a little ways from the strip but if it were to happen it would be horrible.
I pray nothing would happen to any city in our country our any other country for that matter but I fear it will happen again especially with a new president taking office.

Moose, great read. And while I'd agree that we are lacking and our Government isn't nor has it ever really been forth coming with us, I'd also say that the reason those in Israel or other places know to look for and automatically know to shout "unattended bag" is because they're so use to that kind of stuff happening over there/to them. And I'm sure, in a short time of it if ever occurring here, or maybe when rather then if, we too will know to pay attention and shout unattended bag...It's a sad thought soon to become a reality...

If this kind of conflict spreads militarily, I'm done for. I live about 3 miles away from the largest naval base in the world.

I don't want this to happen but I fear if it does happen all it will do is awaken a sleeping giant, and that giant would be the will of the American people behind one cause. Something we haven't seen in a long time in this country.

* Very limited view of Las Vegas, must have only been a tourist. I lived there for 30 years and as stated by Pallin8 there is more then gamblers and Hookers in Las Vegas. If you live there You can not gamble and survive. I have seen too many people lose their jobs and everything because they could not say No

But there are thousands that live there that also don't gamble or chase hookers.

However if you know where to go you can eat cheaply, :-)

Timet in Hendeson would be a good target with the chlorine gas that is used there.

They evacuated Henderson about 15 years ago due to the Timet Gas leak and the Henderson police are equipted with HazMat gear in their patrol cars.

Pallin8 I still had my old blue vehicle plate until I moved

I live near a lot of cows. They aren't worried.

The OP speaks well to the openness of our society leading to vulnerability to those types of actions by those who would do us harm. I don't think most people are going to adapt a bunker mentality, pretty much regardless of what happens unless it is in their own neighborhood. As it is now, we see so much on the news that folks are kind of jaded about it all. On the other hand, an approaching snowstorm will see the local grocery stores jammed with people the day before, stocking up for 3 or 4 days of relative isolation.

People think storm emergencies are real, but terrorist activity is only a remote possibility, therefore don't have any real urgency to invest in preparation. Just like this economic mess -- the warnings were out there for years but everyone kept buying on credit, living beyond their means, etc. and now they want the government to make it all better again.

The "go about your lives as normal" message was intended to keep everyone from hiding in theirs homes and making the impact of 9/11 even larger than it was. I think it had the desired effect. IMHO, another attack will not come until B.O. has had time to establish his good will through improvements to the economic crunch lots of people are feeling. Once he's thought of as a can-do kind of guy, he will be better able to shed blame for bad things that happen. He will become another teflon president, like Clinton was.

Well I live in southeast Texas, right next to all the refineries. We produce a good bit of the gasoline supply for the US. I have been a little nervous ever since 9/11.

About a year or so back they had a pipe of some type rupture about 2 miles from my home and it shook me out of bed. I thought then that maybe we had been attacked.
