I live fairly close to New Pittsburg, but that's got two "t"s in it.

So before someone else asks, is it the pits to live in Pitsburg?

Is anyone keeping count of how many Buckeyes are here?? Whoever started this thread should go back and count, then post it and ask newbies to keep the count going. I wonder if Amarksman is listening?

Hey Guys;

I'm glad that I stumbled across this forum. As you can see at the left, I'm new around here. Still looking around. I haven't figured out how to put the permanent comment at the bottom of my post or how to put the quote in a box. Not sure how to join a group. Not sure if I want to join very many. I'm seeing a lot of trash talk i.e. Ann Landers & Dear Abby type chats about wives. Duh, I'd rather talk about guns. I'm retired and have been around guns all my life. I'm a buyer, seller, trader, shooter, hunter & have owned a ka-zillion guns. Variety is the spice of life. Hunting is mostly Dirt Pigs & Deer. I live in a small town & permission to hunt is getting more difficult each year. I enjoy gun shows and don't have any rime or reason to what I buy. Mostly Lima, Columbus & Dayton. I reside in Logan County about 8 miles South of the Highest Point. I shoot at the Logan County Fish & Game. They have a modest range w/230 yds. Guns are like tools. I buy what I have a need for & enjoy them all. I also load my own rifle, pistol & shotgun shells. (excluding centerfire rimless pistol rounds - not cost effective). I used to shoot Trap, Sporting Clays & some Skeet & have bought supplies at Fin in Ashland.

Shoot Safely & Shoot Often!
