Hi..I feel like I'm spreading myself all over the threads...I replied to a similar thread from Nebraska where I lived for a while long ago and farmed on an absentee basis for years...old family digs.

I was born in Denver in 1937...let's see...that's 72 all right. Lived in Fort Collins in the 50's while I went to school (very small ag college in those days)...worked in "Hutchinson Sporting goods) selling guns and boats while I went to school..(it was on Linden St). Ran Lake Kove fishing resort in the Grand Lake area (Shadow Mountain Lake)....Elk Hunted all over Colorado...Bull Mountain area on the Laramie River watershed...White River National Forest area...Farwell mountain North of Steamboat.

Left Colorado in the 60's for California....New Mexico...Arizona...and California where I live now (San Diego)....don't hold it against me...too old to get out of here. My Mother lived in Denver near Washington Park until her death (age 97) in 2004. Still love to come back and spend time in the mountains...Poudre Canyon near Fort Collins is a real favorite as I sort of "grew up" there.

When in Denver in the early 60's I used to shoot at a very informal range out east near Buckley Field called the Isasc Walton range..we just sort of went...watched out for others..we all policed the area ourselves...did lots of hunting up near Fort Collins and also South near Pueblo (I see someone is from there..I was married ...the first time ....at a church on Grand Ave or something like that...in 1956...married a Pueblo girl)..Lots of great antelope hunting down in that area back then.

Just wanted to chime in and say I miss the people and the open spaces (but much more crowded now than way back then)..Fun to remiiniss.

Sorry, but obviously you don't know anything about the DragonBastard. Ask about him at any gun shop or any motorcycle shop in CO that works on Harleys.

I'm new to the site. My home is in the Golden area and I belong to the Clear Creek County Sportsman's Club just west of Idaho Springs.

I collect old battle rifles when I can and enjoy pistol and revolver shooting.

Just moved to Longmont, just east of Boulder. You lucky folks sure do have a beautiful piece of land here! Glad I was able to invade...lol. I know...<<<it says Indiana, but it lies and I'll get around to changing it soon! Lol I would love to make some range buddies here, so group shoot large or small, I would be game!
