Hey all,

Live up in N.C. AR. Don't get over as much as I need to. Spending a lot of time setting up shoots and such for Project Appleseed.

Just checking in from N. Central Arkansas, like North Shores of Bull Shoals Lake. Deer hunting has turned sour in my area. In fact, have not seen a deer in over a week, and I live in the deep woods. Must have all migrated south, with the snowbirds?

Don't know if its too late to join, but I just got signed up at G&G and have been learning a lot. Live in LR and starting to look at a deer rifle. Any suggestions for something affordable?

Welcome it's never too late to join, in fact these local forums are fairly new. I'm not sure what prices are running in your area right now but a used .30-30 should still be reasonably priced especially since most of the country has gotten infected with semi auto fever.

Yes last week. It is open already after the ice storm and has been for awhile.
