Take GA40 west into Folkston and go north on US1 toward Waycross.About 7 miles south of town is one of the entrances to the Okefenokee Swamp Park, and off that road is a dirt road that goes back in 3 miles to the range that's part of the Dixon Memorial Forest Wildlife Management Area. Covered firing line, cement benches, a 40 yard and a 100 yard side, state owned, unsupervised. I see sailors from Kings Bay there on a regular basis.
I live on the Florida side of the line, just south of Folkston. I haven't been in a while due to some serious surgery on my shootin eye, but I need to learn to shoot with my other side now so I'll be back on a regular basis.

Also from Camden St. Marys and the Okefenokee Swamp Park range is Awesom, Exp for the people that leave a mess/trash everywhere. It really pisses me off to no extent...Im mad now just thinking about it. But other than that I love the range and no im not a sailor. Ive lived here almost all my life and dont plan to move!
