Hi all. I moved to Middleburg, Fl from Jacksonville, NC last year. My shootin range is my back yard pretty much. But I'd love to find a spot close by for a longer shot then 60 yds. And also find a good hunting club that isn't going to cost me an arm and a leg. lol

Hey bobbyjack I used to live in Jacksonville NC also. I live in Duval county now. If you want a good long distance range go out to osceola National Forest. They have a really good public range that is usually not crouded.

I remember you saying you where behind the BP gas station we are about 15 min. apart. Got a friend at work who has 100 acres in Starke says I can shoot there. We should get together some time and send some lead down range.

As far as finding a hunting club that doesnt rape you good luck. The best I found was 675.00 out of Starke. FOGN might know somewhere hes been here longer than I have. I found some into Aluchua that want 2600 a year.

| St. Johns County here
Born in FL, live up north a bunch of years. Used to shoot quite a bit up there. Haven't shot in quite a while. What's convenient? Everyone I knew up there had guns and we went shooting often. Don't know many folks here that shoot.
I would really like to get back into it too. Good for the kids who are old enough now to shoot more than the BB gun.

I'm in Jacksonville myself, but love Daytona. My friend has a beach house down there and frequent it. Lived in New Jersey, Chicago, and Atlanta before, but I love Jacksonville the best by far.
