Thumbs up

Cool, didn't realise we had 'local' subforums! Chris strikes again! Hehehe.

I'm up in Tallytown. Where are y'all from?
Here, we have two local shooting ranges. One is 'members only', south of town and a bit difficult to get into.
My favorite is the Public Range west of town, just down the road from me. I bought my property partly because of the proximity to the range!

Hope nothing happens while your visiting Moose. If it does, you won't have access to all that, well, you know. lol

Man, Moose and Youngbuck both leaving Florida for Alaska. Anybody ever mention that you may be extremists? You guys ought to hook up, Alaska's small enough that you'll probably run into each other. JK

I'm from just north of Orlando in DeBary. About midway between Orlando and Daytona. If anybody's in the area, give me a shout and maybe we can meet up.

Some dang fool at Quintette just shot himself yeterday afternoon.

I'm feeling a little disgusted about that because it takes a special kind of idiot to shoot himself in the stomach at a Gun Range.

The PNJ report isn't accurate, he was NOT part of the IDPA match, according to other IDPA members...and I wasn't there so I have Zero idea of what really happened. Just a bad taste in my mouth for what'll probably come next.

Update on the ERML shooting.

The guy was using a Heavily Modified Glock Race Gun, when he pulled it from the holster it for some reason caught and dropped it ahead of him, where it fired back into him.

Chances are the drop-safety was removed/disabled in the interest of speed...sad sad sad. NEVER disconnect a safety. It'll bite ya in the butt!
