Hey Grumpy, ( by the way, I resemble that remark) lol, I shop around. I get 9 mm at Wally World in the Winchester White box of 100. I buy my 22s at Wally cause of convenience. I don't use the Cheep-O 550/box cause I shoot semi-autos & they jam. I search the Gun Shows for deals. Found 22 CCI Stingers for $4 /box. Found 17 Hmr for less than $10 /box. (both at Lima). By the way, that was last year. I check the Old English & Vances Flyers. They can be found on-line to save gas/mileage. Vances has 17 HMRs at $10.99 /box this month. Another surprising source is Gander Mt. They have a Price Match Policy as duz Dunham's.

Hunting deals on guns & ammo is as much fun as hunting game.
Thanks, Grey

AIM in Middletown and S.O.G in Lebonan have good stock and prices. You need an CCR or FFL for S.O.G.

The main store of Kidron Sport Center is in Kidron, west of the square one road, turn north. It's much more comprehensive than the Charm branch, about twice the square footage and twice the density of merchandise.

I was at the local Dunham's looking at an AR and then at handgun ammo, which they keep behind the counter instead of out on the shelves for some reason. At any rate, I mentioned to the guy about Wally World across the street having Blazer Brass 9mm for $8.97 and instead of saying anything about matching the price, he said he was going to stop over there and get some when he got off work... apparently not all Dunham employees know about price matching or not all stores do it.

In the SW Ohio ie Cincinnati area Shooter's Supply Shop in Loveland is the best just as White Rook said. They have the best prices and the owners are honest, good guys.

I went out there and they do have alot of stuff there.
all their guns are perfect looking, clean, beautiful.
I went out trying to find accessories for my maverick 88 security
they didnt have anything along the lines of, well, anything.
they did have some cool stuff i could put on it,
but they were already on other guns.

if your ever around the neighborhood of painsville,
i would recommend a stop out there

I believe Atwell's was at the last show in Dalton. Good looking stuff. The guy graduated from my old high school (Eastlake North), but quite a few years after I did. He seems like a decent guy and his table had some class to it.

Bill at Royal Ridge is great. Knows his stuff and a great guy to deal with. Better pricing on Bushmasters(when in stock) than the fin. I live inbetween the Fin (fin feather fur) and the Den (Sportsmens Den). I like both. I usually deal with Craig at the fin and Paul at the den. The Den has a halfway decent supply of used guns too, more than the fin and on new the are fairly competitive.

Anyone here that shops the Gun Shoppe in Coventry knows that their ammo prices (especially handgun ammo) are, to say the least, rediculous. I thought that I had seen the worst of it, but boy was I wrong. I was in their establishment recently just to browse the racks. I looked at their ammunition shelves to see if they had any 9mm in stock. They had a mere two boxes of blazer brass on the shelf with no other 9mm ammo in sight, and they had each 50rd box priced at nearly 23 bucks before taxes. I know that supply isn't meeting damand these days, but come on, that price is just insane.
