Wood vs. Synthetic on Mini-14?

Does anyone have an opinion on whether a wood-stocked Mini-14, all other things being equal, is more accurate than a synthetic stocked Mini, again, all other things being equal? Assume the wood stock is not getting wet and swelling up.

Properly bedded a Ruger Mini-14 will shoot well in a birch stock and properly fit a synthetic stock will shoot well. The better choice in my opinion is the laminated stock. They are a combination of synthetic and wood and are impervious to moisture. They need to be properly fit and bedded, once set they are stronger than wood. The Mini-14 can be bedded in the same fashion as the US M-14. There are some differences in the Ruger but the similarities are more important...
