OU will be in position if they beat OSU (ranked). Texas won't get enough of a boost from beating Texas A&M because they're unranked.

Texas is above Oklahoma by a hair. With a win against #11 Saturday, we should go ahead of Texas. Texas plays Texas A&M.

It's a shame that we can only send 2 teams to the BCS. Texas, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, and Texas Tech would all destroy most teams. Yeah, they're all that good! Too bad they're all in the same conference and same division. All four would be undefeated! Add Kansas and Mizzou from the North! Wow! The Big 12 is awesome! I almost forgot, Nebraska is going bowling, too!

The SEC is down this year, for sure, once you get past Bama and Florida, the rest of the conference is mediocre, at best.

What concerns me is the "coaches ranking vote". That's what Stoops got so upset about last year because of the outlandish voting. Stoops says he won't submit his vote this year. It could come back to haunt him! What you say is true and if we should win our next two I don't see how we couldn't be in it but it seems like every year somebody gets you know what!

The SEC is way down this year, but I think Florida is probably the most balanced and explosive team in the country right now (Alabama is good too, but they probably could not hang with the best in the Big 12) The Big 12 is by far the best conference this year. If UF and either OU or Texas win out and don't meet in the NC game I will be pissed.

The Big 12 always has the best conference IMO.

If Stoops could figure out how to win a BCS game, I would have to agree with you. I think the Big 12 and SEC(most years) get screwed because top to bottom there are a lot of good teams. No one team in either conference can dominate the way USC or OSU do.

I don't know what it is with Oklahoma. Maybe timing, the fact that these guys are 18-21 and party too much. Whatever it is, they seem to lose focus in the bowl games. Maybe Bob Stoops needs to be stricter with them. The Oklahoma that shows up for bowl games is not the same team that played during the regular season. Nebraska went through that back in the 70's and 80's.

I have heard from good source that travels to all the games and stays in same hotel as team that they pretty much have approached it like a vacation the last 5-6 years. They are involved in too much before the game to stay focused. Mostly the coaches fault. They need to get serious and save the "partying" for after the game.

Stoops has always had Techs number, must have something to do with him knowing Leach, I dunno. Tech just hasnt done as well against OU as they have the rest of the conference.

Tech, OU and UT are obviously the top three in the the Big 12 this year. OSU, Mizz, and Kansas are still good teams but obviously not good enough to beat the first 3. I think they will all do well in bowls this year. Tech will demolish whoever they play because its not going to be anyone that has the speed on defense to stop them, like the gators.

I'm getting way ahead of myself, but I'm hoping that the Gators don't have the defense to beat the Sooners!
