I have a 9mm carbine and a 9mm pistol (C9?) on their way right now fron Bud's Guns.

Do you have any news on the .45 carbine?

How do you like that Red Dot scope?

I think that will be one of the first things I add to my carbine. I also plan to get the butt padd which holds 2 extra mags.

Thanks for the info. Does the Red Dot scope need anything special to mount to the Hi-Point, or is the gun already set up for it?

BTW, nice Hi-Point collection.

this is what i got in the email from highpoint. so it seems it's still just a paper gun right now and nuthing is made yet.

Dear Sir,

The Hi-Point factory still has not started production for the .45 ACP carbine. We’ve been informed it will be available early 2009, but we haven't been given an exact date yet.

We will be updating our website Hi-Point Firearms when the carbine is released and being shipped; please check on the site now and then for any news. We’ll be keeping you posted as best we can.

I know they've been saying it for the last 4 or 5 years but I think they are ready now.
