The quote from Sebastian D'Souza, the photographer and picture editor for the Mumbai Mirror who snapped a photo seen around the world of one of the terrorists in India last week, said it all: "I only wish I had a gun, not a camera."
Hm, let's see, if he'd of had a gun instead of the camera,
The picture he took wouldn't have been taken.
The terrorist he had in his lens, would have then been in his sights.
The quote, "I only wish I had a gun, not a camera" would be a mute point.
Lastly, that terrorist he snapped the image of through his lens, had he had a gun instead of a camera, would have been killed and many less would have been killed by that terrorist.
Yes, these are all obvious common sense things that would have happened had he a gun instead of the camera. The same obvious and common sense things that could be and has been expressed by many. That same obvious common sense that gets ignored and that gets over shadowed by all the ignorant and senseless shootings that get the headlines.
Maybe in India, from this will or might come the right for not only this cameraman, but others, will get the right to not only carry a camera, but also a gun. But I highly doubt it. Why, because
That would be to obvious and make too much common sense!!!

Why do they even call it common sense when its so flippin rare? I've always wondered that.... It must be because past generations were a hell of a lot smarter than the one today.
