Just about anytime I ask about .45 ACP, I'm told, "we just sold out this morning... lol. I sold the 91 rounds of leftover 9mm I had to my brother, then I found I had another full box of 50. If only my .45 ACP were coming up so abundant.

The ammo shortage won't last forever... and .45 ACP is always good to have. Now I just need to find someone to buy that last 50 rounds of 9mm... I'll probably end up selling it to my brother.

I almost pickup a Steyr at Big 5 on Coors near Cottonwood Mall for $89.00; however, the condition, alot of cleaning needed was not willing to do a function check at that time. If the gun was that bad, do not know how the internal components state were in!

Also, not much ammo, they had some .25 and 30-06. I got a nice chair for the backyard instead.

I got one there for christmas. Finding ammo was a pain in the mag! I traded it for a MN M-44 at Petersons.

I had a gift certificate for $150.00 after getting a Ruger in May. Well, Sportsman's Warehouse has a 2 box per type of ammo. I can 2 - 9mm, 2 - 357, etc. Which I did!

Checking in from Carlsbad, NM. Just got my first real (non-BB) gun for my birthday a few weeks ago. Had it for a week before I could find any .22 LR here in Carlsbad to shoot with it. Now I am hooked, and eyeing other guns.

There doesn't seem to be too many like me from Santa Fe here. Myself, I try to stay away from the city as much as possible, way too liberal for my blood.

Hey All,

Ammo is short everywhere so start reloading, it's the only way to feed your babies.

.45 is hard to find

I agree the .45 is hard to find.. Walmart is the best place to find it still.. you just have to buy it as soon as it hits the shelves. Bought two 100 round boxes.

If you need 40 cal.. you have more ammo than you need. Seems to be more 40 ammo everywhere I go.
