BTW- last night I went to Stockystocks.com and ordered my SKYLINE camo Contender butt stock and forend for the Conversion to a rifle. First barrel will be a .223 around 18" to 20" and another NcStar 2-7x32 scope. It is a special order stock combo package and will be delivered in about 60 days. It was on sale for 162.00 plush shipping of $8.00. Also, thumbhole stock!!!! yes, I am pumped about it! So now i dont need to buy another rifle and can sell my 270 I never use since I got this Contender.
This is my 6 yr old son Cameron. He also came with me the evening before and we killed a lil doe with my Reflex Grizzly Bow. He was amazed! He blood tracked her with me in the dark for about 30 minutes,(we took his little brother ethan,3, with us also) and he was teaching him the whole way like I have been doing since he was 3, and his Older Brother Seth, 18!
anyway, we killed 3 deer in 4 days and had a wonderful Thanksgiving, and I love my new 44 mag barrel for my TC!

I am becoming a pretty good shot too! About 50 yards, at a steady walk in the thick brush and I dropped that little buck! Best part tho is that I called him right to me, and had already turned around in my stand anticipating where he would circle downwind and try to bust me, like his Dad has done a couple times. His daddy is HUGE 6pt, little browtines and 2 big forks on each side, but bases thick like your leg! It was just a perfect morning, only in stand maybe 20 minutes!
