Good score. I saw them going for $177 at Buds until they ran out. With the $20 dollar transfer fee (which was the lowest I could find in the area), it would have cost me more than what you paid.

Now, we need a range report on your new .45!

I don't know how much they have went up but back in July Hi-Points around here were $150.00. I was going to buy a 9mm just to have a 9mm.

In my area of North Texas Hi Points go for 30-50 above retail, if you can even find one. At the gun show last weekend there wasn't any. One fellow that usually has a few said he hasn't been able to get any in about 6 months. There is a gunshop about 100 miles from here that I called about a 4095 and he said he had 3 of them and only $379 each. I guess he still has them cause I didn't go get one at that price.

Is that cheap for the 4095?

MSRP for the most expensive 4095 is $345 for the camo stock one with the laser sight.

We have it good here in Ohio (where these are made). I just bought a 995 with a red dot ($275 MSRP) for $229 and there were at least a couple more (with various sights, etc.) in stock, similarly discounted. The fact that the store is about four miles from MKS Sales (their main distribution office) doesn't hurt, I suppose.
